Bilingual Peer Recovery Specialist As a Full-Time Bilingual Peer
Recovery Specialist at Owen Health Care, you will play a pivotal
role in providing comprehensive emotional support through
individual interactions and support groups, fostering self-esteem
and confidence among clients with your empathy and caring approach.
You'll also deliver informational support by facilitating classes,
training, and seminars, equipping individuals with the skills they
need to become peer support specialists. Your instrumental support
will shine through as you coordinate referrals and provide tangible
assistance, helping clients navigate challenges such as
transportation, housing, food, and clothing. Additionally, you'll
create a sense of community by facilitating social support in
designated spaces and activities, connecting individuals in
recovery to promote learning and recreational skills. Finally, you
will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical
Services, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery care in
alignment with our mission to empower and uplift our clients. Does

or GED is required, along with a valid NJ driver's license,

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a history of
substance abuse, showcasing a minimum of two years of sobriety to
foster authentic connections with clients. Excellent interpersonal
skills are vital, as you will engage empathetically with
individuals from diverse backgrounds, promoting trust and open
communication. Additionally, a willingness to complete the
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Training-a 46-hour online
program mandated by the Addiction Professionals Certification Board
of New Jersey-is crucial for ensuring you possess the knowledge and
