of Senior Social Worker position. You will be responsible for the
education, oversight, and outcomes of the nursing center Social
Workers within a defined geography. Position Highlights *Support
and evaluate social work practice initiatives. *Ensure that Social
Services delivery is consistent and in compliance with federal,
state, and local guidelines, regulations, Genesis policies and
procedures, and standards of care for specialty practice. *Plan,
develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of
the nursing center Social Workers in accordance with the National
Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics while
maintaining compliance with regulations. *Foster a climate,

practice for social workers in long-term care. *Competent in
values, ethics, and theoretical perspectives; assessment;
intervention; aging services, programs, and policies.
*Knowledgeable of biological, psychological, social, emotional,
spiritual, practical informational and financial needs and
challenges experienced by the patient/resident, family, and
caregiver. *Able to work cooperatively as a team member *Possess
supervisory, interviewing, problem solving and interviewing skills
*Technologically proficient in the tools required for practice
(i.e. PCC, etc.) Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Social Work
from an accredited school of Social Work is required. *Must possess
any certifications/licensures as required by State of employment to
practice in long term care. *Must possess a driver's license and be
