Neuroscience Clinical Biomarker Science is a critical scientific
leadership position, serving as a key expert in Neuroscience
biomarkers for clinical trials, external development initiatives,
and program execution. This role builds on Lilly’s strong legacy of
Neuroscience biomarker innovation and plays a central part in
advancing therapies to patients. The Sr. Director will have the
opportunity to work with unique clinical trial datasets and help
generate new data that will shape the future of patient care. Key
Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on Neuroscience clinical
biomarkers in Lilly clinical trials, supporting research teams on
patient selection, target engagement, and pharmacodynamic
biomarkers, as well as advising on novel biomarker development.
Deliver clinical program biomarker plans. Lead the execution of
clinical biomarker programs. Review Clinical and Biomarker Standard
Operating Procedures. Contribute to the design, drafting, and
review of clinical protocols. Act as a scientific liaison for Lilly
with external partners, researchers, and consortia. Support
business development, clinical, and imaging teams on external
collaborations, offering scientific expertise on the use of Lilly
compounds in partner-led projects. Provide input into scientific
and regulatory strategies, compound selection, clinical development
plans, and commercial strategies as needed. Represent Lilly in
public scientific forums. Perform additional duties as assigned.

communications Basic Qualifications: PhD in neuroscience or a
closely related scientific field with a minimum of 5 years
experience in clinical research Additional Skills/Preferences:
Strong background in biomarker research, ideally with expertise in
both fluid and imaging biomarkers Experience in the pharmaceutical
industry is preferred; alternatively, a robust academic background
with leadership experience in research Proven analytical and
problem-solving abilities Strong communication, listening, writing,
and interpersonal skills Demonstrated learning agility, critical
thinking, and negotiation skills Effective delegation and
leadership capabilities Additional Information: Travel required:

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $168,000 -
$294,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
