a Sales and Marketing Lead Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters

The Sales and Marketing Lead Specialist is a dynamic position
responsible for developing and managing prospect leads created from
inbound inquiries (phone / web) and marketing campaigns
(tradeshows, surveys, social media, etc.). The Lead Specialist will
qualify and nurture prospect leads into sales-ready opportunities
and assist the Sales team in turning them into new signings of
industrial gases / equipment.
The Lead Specialist will also work individually with the Sales team
to collectively manage their territories, source targeted marketing
activities, and help build and execute on their sales pipelines.
This individual will have opportunities to work across the
Commercial Organization with Marketing, Commercial Technology, and
The successful candidate will become proficient in Air Products'
industrial gas products, supply modes, applications, technology,
equipment, and contracts.
Use telephone / email to learn about the prospect's industrial gas
needs. Identify decision makers, buying influencers and determine
scope, budget, and timing of gas supply projects.
Build and cultivate prospect relationships with proactive
communication, follow-up actions, and a positive attitude.
Understand our existing offering of industrial gas products, supply
modes, applications, technology, and equipment and stay current on
Work closely with Sales, Commercial Technology, and Marketing to
develop targeted marketing campaigns and follow up on leads for
priority geographies and products to grow the sales pipeline.
Document all findings from prospecting calls / emails in the
corporate sales force automation tool and identify follow-up
actions and timing
Education / Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business
Administration or Marketing
2-3 years of sales, marketing or other customer-facing experience
Strong communication and influencing skills
Excellent telephone skills / etiquette
Strong computer / analytical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint, and proven ability to learn new tools and
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Travel may be necessary to support trade shows or sales blitzes
(estimated 5% or less)
