TOPS Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturing company located near the Allentown, PA area. Our client is looking to add several new employees to their production facility. The ideal candidate would have prior experience operating production machines and material handling utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes in a manufacturing environment. We are willing to provide on the job training in one or more areas giving you the ability to grow and progress with in the company. Job Details: Afternoon shift and Overnight Shifts available Hours: 2pm to 10pm OR 10pm to 6am Work schedule: Monday to Friday - Have to be open to working Saturday overtime as it's a regular occurrence. Starting pay rates close to $20 per hour Duties/Responsibilities: Material handling Forklift and overhead crane Using the computer to print labels for our products. Finish packaging - Plastic wrapping large scale finished products. Operation of production line machinery - Monitoring, making adjustments, starting and stopping of production line. Loading and unloading production line Loading hoppers or feeder systems on our production line, mainly liquid chemical and paint type products. Ability to learn and be trained on the job. Ability to work overtime on a regular basis is required Other duties as assigned by management. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience working in production or labor oriented job is highly preferred Material handling experience is a big plus Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Position requires walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and standing in order to perform job duties Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis Available to work off shifts (afternoon and night) is a must!
