Supervisor (Off Shifts)Tamaqua, PA -Luxfer MEL Technologies is a

Supervisor will oversee and manage employees and ensure compliance
with safety, quality, and quantity standards. - They will monitor
production rates, yields, and quality of products routinely,
communicating results to employees and leveraging continuous
improvement tools to improve scheduling, quality, and efficiency.
-They will support initiatives across the plant, including but not
limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being
on-call and servicing as a primary plant management

Trains and manages production
employees.Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the
production shift.Provides constructive and timely performance
feedback. - Involved with production operations on assigned shift
and builds people capability through effective employee relations,
training, and communication for hourly personnel.Executes work
schedules to ensure efficient operations, prioritizing
Customer-First.Maintains knowledge of processes and
equipment.Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and
warehoused correctly.Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues
that arise.Notifies maintenance department of equipment
problems.Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety
regulations, training, policies, and procedures.Ensures all
required reporting and documentation is completed and signed
correctly.Conducts health, safety, and environmental inspections as
assigned.Contribute to site-wide 5S/Lean activities and contribute
to its success.Tracks key performance indicators/costs,
anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise
achievement of financial targets.This role requires regular
presence on the plant floor and occasional work in poor weather
conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.This role may
operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally.This role
is primarily off shift and may require other shifts and weekend
work.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required

Thorough understanding of or the
ability to quickly learn production operations and
machinery.Excellent supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent
verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning and
organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent time
management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks
and to delegate them when appropriate.Basic competency with
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to give and receive
constructive feedback.Ability to lead a team-based approach to
decision making.Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented,
challenging environment.Effective coaching, facilitation,
presentation, and team-building skills.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
requiredAnalytical skillsPhysical stamina and strength to lift up
to 50 lbs. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g.
constant use of protective gear)Strong communication and
