Description:Day-to-day: 80% in the lab and 20% on the floor. Lab work is split 60% computer work 40% utilizing laboratory instrumentation.Computer work includes: 1) Entering Data 2) Requalification of expired raw materials 3) Preparing and sending out samples for 3rd party testing if testing cannot be done in-house4) Creating sample test reports and organizing paperwork accordingly 5) Compiling microsamplesLaboratory work uses the following instruments:1) FTIR2) GC3) Viscosity testing4) Incubators5) pH testing6) Stability testingWhen on the floor (20% of the time) They will be expected to: Sample and test packaging components, in-process products, and finished products. Accurately interprets and follows reference documentation, such as specifications and SOPs. Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's). Effectively communicates Quality-related information both verbally and in written form.Must Haves: - 5+ years Quality Control Experience (if no degree)- Associates degree in the sciences (3-5 years experience)- Bachelors degree in the sciences (at least 2 years experience)- Interest in getting into a laboratory setting with upward mobility- Strong communication skillsSkills:Quality control, Laboratory, Biology, Quality inspection, Gmp, chemistry, biochemistry, Quality assurance, Qc, Quality check, gas chromatographyTop Skills Details:Quality control, Laboratory, Biology, Quality inspection, Gmp, chemistry, biochemistryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Emphasis on Excel and Teams is VERY helpful- SiteLine is the ERP system they use.
