What You'll Do
Primary Responsibility: Work directly with Director of Inventory
Control, Operations Leadership and Corporate teams to ensure we are
in compliance to all inventory control practices, bring best
practices across the entire network and use data analytics to
identify and drive improvements. Essential Functions: • Monitor and
evaluate the inventory counts and transactions for multiple
warehouses a quarterly or as needed to ensure accuracy, validity,
and promote cohesiveness. • Support the implementation of and
compliance of the Inventory Best Practices SOP to ensure • Ensure
compliance to Company and Customer Food Safety requirements around
Hard Hold and Quality Hold inventory. • Perform internal audits to
ensure the company policies and standard operating procedures on
inventory control are being observed and properly executed; these
facility visits must be in depth and include a review of inventory
control practices including but not limited to: cycle counting
procedures, record-keeping, the follow-up on missing/damaged cases,
adjustments, segregation of duties; partner with site Management
and inventory owners to develop and implement recommendations. •
Review Key Performance Indicators and utilize other measurement
tools on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that operational,
financial, employee and service controls are in place.
What Experience You Need
Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business,
logistics or management preferred • 3 to 5 years in warehousing
and/or logistics management experience along with Inventory Control
is a must. • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Knowledge & Employment Standards: • Advanced experienced with
Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. • Familiar with WMS,
SAP and RF required
