SP Industries an ATS Company is seeking a Controls Programming
Technician to join the team! #SPjobs2The Controls Programming
Technician will have assigned tasks within the Electrical and
Controls Engineering disciplines and include training on and
supporting the equipment, devices, and services provided by SP
Scientific.What you will do:Commission, test, troubleshoot, and
modify PLC control system applications.Commission, test,
troubleshoot, and modify SCADA control system applications.Read,
understand, and modify control system design documents including:
P& ID, control system schematics, wiring drawings, I/O lists,
pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, and written design specifications
(GAMP).Modify, and configure PC based relational databases.Install
control systems in a cost effective and timely manner in accordance
with project schedules, budgets, customer requirements, and
equipment specifications.Report on and/or present progress and
status of projects and assignments in various formats to internal
and external audiences.Provide assistance to Technical Support and
Service personnel.Some travel to other SP facilities, vendors, or
customer sites may be necessary. Some travel may be foreign.What
you will need:1-5 years minimum experience with the
following:Testing and Troubleshooting CompactLogix PLCs (RSLogix
/Studio 5000 )Testing and Troubleshooting FTView HMIs (FTView
ME/SE)Experienced and proficient with SCADA software and HMI
software such as Wonderware, GE iFIXComputer skills to include
Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Project.Experience with validation procedures and change-control
practices relating to control system development and modification
is a plus.Experience with controls validation and change-control
procedures within an FDA regulated environment is a plus.Experience
with a Quality Management System based on the ISO-9001:2008
standard is a plus.Experience with systems integration involving
multiple vendors is a plus.Experience with refrigeration systems
control is a plus.Experience troubleshooting IP networks is a
plusExperience setting up PCs, Servers and Thin Clients (Windows XP
through 10 and Server 2003 through 2019 R2) is a plusMust have good
troubleshooting skills.Must have excellent organizational
skills.Must have excellent communication skills; must be able to
communicate clearly and succinctly when speaking and
writing.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described are

variable and may require hearing protection in some areas.The shop
is heated when required but many areas are not air conditioned.Some
shop processes use high voltage arcs or concentrated magnetic
