Job Overview Shipping & Receiving Clerk II The Allentown operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling and variety packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center. The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams. All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes. Compensation: $21.00/hr PLUS shift prem. $2/hr 3rd Shift: 12 hr shift schedule working 6pm-6am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management and customer service. Assumes prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials orders while providing outstanding customer service Position Responsibilities Check in and out truck drivers in a timely manner using Carrier Point (logistics software used by Ryder) Accurately handle all transactions which in many cases are legal documents Assign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloaded Assign material handlers to load the trucks Complete the bill of ladings for drivers and get the proper signatures Maintain the office areas to include filing and cleaning duties as required Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and Standards established by Office of Safety and Health Administration Execute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed Requirements High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred 1 year logistics, or shipping and receiving experience 1 year working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel 1 year experience with an automated warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manugistics Company Overview Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is a leading coffee and beverage company in North America with dual headquarters in Burlington, MA and Plano, TX, with annual revenue in excess of $11 billion.
