ServiceNow is the tool which is used for IT workflow focusing on Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Base, and Demand Management. The role will focus on maintaining the application. This will include release management of keeping the platform up to date with the appropriate version, creating simple workflows, managing tables, and developing leadership reports. This role will also work closely with the ITIL Process Coordinators to understand the end to end process streamlining. This role may also participate in major initiatives or key projects depending on leadership approval. The expectation is that the ServiceNow Analyst consistently exercises a high level of excellent customer service representing the positive image of St. Luke s University Health Network.Key initiatives that this intern will get involved with include: CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Proof of Concept, Demand Intake Renovation (ServiceNow Tool and Process), ServiceNow Chat/ChatBot, and others. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Requires sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 2 hours at a time. Frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands. Extensively uses mouse as a computer entry device. Uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and visual monotony. Spends considerable time viewing computer screen. EDUCATION Must be currently enrolled or recently completed a 2 or 4 year degree in Computer Science TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE 0-4 years. Java or other programming skills nice to have. Aptitude or interest in Project Management Networking, Servers, applications and computer hardware, Requirements Gathering and Reporting, Data Management, Database Management.
