Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Abide by all Safety regulations and policies
Must wear all required PPE for any task/job currently being
performed
Meet all production standards and efficiencies focusing on Safety,
Quality, Delivery, and Cost based on current routings/times
Perform daily housekeeping task. Help maintain 5S standards in your
work location and whole department
Must be willing to work outside of your current Job Classification
and Department as qualified and needed
Read and understand build sheets
Use SAP system to scan in build sheets and badge numbers
Assemble and disassemble cabinets to build sheet specifications
Add components to cabinets
Understand and know what all parts and components of the cabinets
are and their functionality
Print finished product labels and ensure accuracy of completed
product and label
Material handling with hand truck or lifts (not motorized
forklift)
Visual inspection of all components to ensure quality standards are
met
Perform daily lift inspections
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic mechanical abilities
Organizational and communication skills
Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge
Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous
improvement demonstrated by a work history of safe performance,
accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed,
constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement,
ability to effectively implement or respond to change, punctuality
and consistent work attendance
Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures,
including those related to Safety
Able to speak, read, and write in English
Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to meet build
time expectations
Basic mechanical ability, including knowledge of and ability to be
trained in the use of various hand and power tools
Basic computer knowledge and comfort using Microsoft applications
and an MRP system
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be working in a manufacturing plant with varying climate
Must be able and willing to work daily and weekly overtime as
required
Able to stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours daily
Able to lift, push and/or pull up to 33lbs individually and up to
66lbs as a team
Able to use simple tools such as air tools, drills, hammer, safety
utility knives, etc
Able to frequently walk, twist, bend, reach, grasp, use fine
manipulation, push, and pull
