Reference #: 745249 Are you someone who enjoys working in a plant environment with your hands and utilizing your welding skills? Our Gardner location in Emmaus has an opportunity for you Gardner Cryogenics, a division of Air Products, has immediate openings for experienced Welder /Fitters at our Emmaus PA Facility. Applicants for the Welder/ Fitter positions must be capable of producing quality welds in accordance with ASME requirements and operate with minimal supervision. Candidates must be skilled in the following: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW Burning (oxy-acetylene and plasma) Soldering (soft and silver) Pipe fitting Radiograph test for qualification. This position is an evening shift from 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm with some overtime expected. Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift up to 50 lbs. Will be exposed to high noise levels. Be able to work overtime as needed. Elevated work required. Qualifications / Requirements: Welding High School Diploma/GED. Two years of operations experience in an industrial plant is preferred. Military experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude required Must be a self starter and willing to work alone. Strong oral and written communication skills. Team player that is flexible and has a positive attitude. Technical School Graduates: We encourage students to apply who may have a background in Industrial Systems, Machine Tool Technology, Welding, Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, HVAC, Instrumentation Technology.
