Company: PenTeleDataWFH 3 Day Flex Shifts: 3PM-11PM or 11PM-7AM (40hrs per week, after training will include weekends and holidays as needed)*Note: Although there is a work-from-home component to this position, employees are required to work "in house" for their first 90 days. Once completed, employees will have the option to work from home 3 days per week. Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania and live within a 50-mile radius of our base office in Palmerton and have a High Speed Data Connection with a Minimum of 100 Mbps and a quiet dedicated office space.** Training period is typically conducted Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM or 3PM-11PM. Next training class will start in January 2023 although an exact date is still TBDPenTeleData, a leader in Data Transport technologies, has an exciting career opportunity available for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative.Responsibilities will include:Answering High Volume TelephonesResponding to customer emails and chat messagesTroubleshooting customer issuesSpeaking with customers in reference to abuse issues / policy violationsCorresponding with customers in reference to service issuesCommunicating with Partners in reference to accountsWorking with other PTD departments to resolve customer issuesProcessing new residential accountsQuoting prices for dial-up servicesProcessing changes to existing accountsAnswering billing questionsMaking courtesy calls to customersProcessing PPV ordersOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.Previous Customer Service experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programsFamiliarity with Windows Operating SystemsUnderstanding of computer virus and network securityPositive attitude and professional demeanorExcellent Communication Skills- oral and writtenGood Typing SkillsGood Organizational SkillsGood Follow-up SkillsStrong Negotiation and Problem Resolution SkillsAbility to identify problems and submit trouble ticketsAbility to interact well with customers on a daily basisAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamAbility to multitask in a fast paced environmentAbility to work the weekend and holiday rotation scheduleAbility to adapt to the changing needs of the company**Our CSR's must be able to meet and maintain company standards for customer care, accuracy, monitoring, attendance and call handling.
