Our DT team has an immediate opening for a Principal Advanced Analytics Lead / Data Scientist to provide technical mentorship and data science expertise in planning, designing, and delivering advanced analytics solutions to enable productivity and growth. This position can be located at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA with a hybrid working arrangement or can be available to those working remotely in the U.S. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office may be required on occasion to engage in face-to-face collaboration among teammates.

What you'll do:

  • Network with and influence senior business leaders to identify and understand how to use creative advanced analytics techniques to help solve complex business problems
  • Lead and facilitate the definition of detailed data requirements, help develop and deliver the appropriate analytics solutions, provide input on solution interpretation, and drive the implementation of the solutions to solve enterprise business problems
  • Develop and maintain a strong external network of professionals, experts, and researchers to socialize ideas and stay state of the art
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of principles in building relationships, fostering teamwork, and recognizing the generation of value from the completion of advanced analytics projects
  • Exemplify commitment to continuous improvement, motivate others to achieve the same commitment, and earn recognition by business partners as an authority in applying advanced analytics techniquesWhat we are looking for:
    • Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Operations Research, Machine Learning or related degree with 10+ years of experience successfully applying advanced analytics
    • Proven experience applying advanced analytics techniques such as Optimization and Mathematical Programming, Simulation, Forecasting, Statistics, Classification, Machine Learning and Clustering
    • Cognitive and/or Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Natural Language Processing) is an advantage
    • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and manage conversations at a senior level is essential
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to influence, work effectively and execute projects
    • Superb communication and networking skills
    • Excellent algorithm development and programming skills with knowledge of Python, R, and SQL
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (e.g., Sagemaker pipelines, Sagemaker Studio, Rekognition, Comprehend) desired
    • Knowledge of AIMMS (mathematical programming) and Simio (simulation modelling) software is a plus
