Job Description and Qualifications
GEMTE is at the helm of Air Products' strategic growth in the
areas of all technologies and project sizes. The Americas PMO is
responsible for ensuring adherence to our governance and work
processes. The team coordinates globally to ensure we are
leveraging cross-region improvements, and ensuring our controls are
adequately supporting our project objectives.
We have an immediate need of a data analyst who will report into
the Manager of the Americas Project Management Office (PMO). The
Data Analyst, Americas PMO will have responsibility for managing
our strategic regional KPIs including absorption, SOX controls
adherence, time distribution discipline, and global resource
planning. Strategic improvement areas that the analyst will lead
include improving data visibility through dashboards, automated
reporting, and work process continuous improvement projects.

suited for this role, which requires working with cross-functional
and cross-regional teams to directly impact the top objectives of
the Global Project Execution and Manufacturing organization. The
role involves the following accountabilities:
- Work with the capital project teams in all regions to assess
and improve the adherence to SOX controls.
- Work with regional and functional leadership in project
execution to gather reporting requirements. Translate Voice of the
Organization feedback into visualization specifications that can be
fed to IT for the creation of automated dashboards.
- Use continuous improvement methods to close gaps in our current
processes. Examples of improvement objectives include reducing the
count of unapproved time charging hours per month and minimizing
the absorption variance to plan per cost center.
- Work with the Global PMO to analyze and draw conclusions from
trends in overhead budget, time charging, absorption, and

level with opportunities to interpret and present findings and
influence decisions using data. Therefore, he/she must display an
advanced level of communication and presentation skills. Those
skills will be further developed in-role. The candidate must also
demonstrate a strong will to succeed and demonstrate the core
competencies of Drive Results and Develop Self and Others.
Delivering results in this role will rely on an understanding of
change management approaches and the organization's work processes.
As the successful candidate matures in role, he/she will
independently resolve anticipated issues. High performance growth
in this role is anticipated to bring opportunities for increased
responsibility in Project Execution or position the candidate well
for strategic roles in Accounting, Finance, Quality, or Continuous
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance,
engineering, technical, or other relevant field
- Facilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution Skills. Ability
to constructively manage conflict.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with high
emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Highly polished communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent presentation skills.
- Data analysis in excel and access experience is plus.
- High ethical standards. Committed to integrity.
- Experience using EPC tools, Ecosys and SAP is a plus.
- Green or Black belt training in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
