What You'll Do

As a Quote Specialist, you'll be part of our Global Tools and Storage team working remotely. You will support our Customer Service daily operational rhythms. This includes quoting and maintaining customer account information for RFQ's (Request for Quote) through our CRM Platform and web-based tools.

Success in this role will include the ability to research answers using multiple resources to process quotes in a timely manner. This individual will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, have an attention to detail and be well organized. In addition, must demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communications, along with the ability to utilize, learn and adapt to business processes, product and technology. You'll get to:

  • Read and understand incoming RFQ's and customer specifications with the ability to align to drawings (if applicable).

  • Process incoming RFQ's in a timely manner

  • Process and handle customer requests and other customer related matters pertaining to incoming quote requests.

  • Learn/recognize multiple brands of equipment for industrial applications.

  • Quote Complexity Levels 1-4 accurately with minimal supervision.

  • Act as a liaison with operations, sales personnel, and other partners to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Communicate daily as needed with internal team, sales, and customers pertaining to missing product specifications on requests for quote.

  • Consistently hit KPIs

  • Maintain working knowledge of all company products, services, and processes.

  • Develop proficiencies in learning and processing cross branded quotes.

  • Assist and support teams with profiling, affiliate and partner requests, and other work assigned by management.

  • 2+ years' worth experience quoting and/or within a customer service environment

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

  • Experience using SAP & Salesforce, preferred

  • Experience interpreting KPI's

  • Ability to work flexible work hours and overtime if needed

  • Willingness to assist new team members and peers, including some training

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Patience and a Positive Attitude

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Exercise good judgment

  • Goal-Orientated

  • Customer Focused

  • High knowledge of company products, services, policies and processes
