Directs and coordinates the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of projects, including the acquisition of hardware and software. Assigns I/S staff and coordinates these with those of departmental personnel in a matrix relationship to various projects and directs their activities for the project. Evaluates performance of staff and prepares reviews. Confers with software/hardware vendors and other third parties regarding new products, opportunities, problems, enhancements and implementations.MinimumRequirements:Bachelor of Science degree or appropriate long term experience in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of ten years progressive experience in information services core technology or system support with five years of leadership experience Work requires knowledge of a wide range of hardware and software technologies and networks to manage technical experts in the respective areas. Work requires the ability solve complex problems with minimal direction, involving multiple hardware and software platforms. Work requires strong project management skills and experience with large project leadership. Work requires effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to promote growth as individuals, teams and as an organization. Work requires the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to all levels of staff within the organization, in the written and oral form. Must be able to visit multiple work locations. Primary responsibilities and duties of technology leadership are as follows. This resource will work closely with Design and Construction leaders to provide accurate technology budget projections as well as help manage the technology process through the entire construction life cycle.Highlighted responsibilities, but not limited to:Review and facilitate intake process including business attributes, services, programs, volumes, staffing, validation as providedby Design/Construction and program ownerSpecifically review CE requirements with clinical leadershipReview, confirm technology templates are kept current with respective owners for each technology areaOrchestrate and conduct technology budget review meetingsResponsible for monthly budget review with program ownersAttend Facilities/Construction and Business Network Development meetings to review opportunities or potential projects Review, compare general budget review for inconsistencies, observations that do not align with standard technology budgetsResponsible for final budget submission to program ownerReview and validate budget submission during construction phases and inform program owners of unexpected cost variances or changes. Create and provide technology timelines for equipment procurement and deploymentResponsible for Clinical engineering and medical equipment activationResponsible for device management deployment/activation technology tasksResponsible for Business and Clinical/Epic workflow discussions and recommendationsResponsible for production activation and site support transitionPreferred Qualifications:Licensure and Certifications:#LI-ML1Full Time 40 hoursSDL2017
