Holcomb Behavioral Health System is seeking to hire a Clinical Support Services Specialist.Position Type: Full-timeLocation: Allentown, PAWe seek a self-starting, detail oriented individual who possesses excellent organizational skills to process referrals, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, schedule appointments and provide support at the front desk of our busy outpatient clinic and corporate office. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Ability to work in a fast - paced environment, meet deadlines and be team-oriented.Role Description: In this role the Clinical Support Specialist has the responsibility to work cooperatively with other administrative and clinical staff members to manage client communication and needs, whether on the phone or in person.Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:* Responsible for greeting all external and internal customers in a professional manner whether in person and/or over the phone.* Checking clients in for their appointments.* Collecting and recording client payments in electronic health record.* Making appointment confirmation calls.* Assisting receptionist in answering telephone console, screening calls and forwarding messages.Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum Experience: One year experience in medical or behavioral health care office setting or other professional business office setting which includes customer service and data entry.Required Clearances: Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.* Interested persons should complete an online application.* Resume REQUIRED.Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.Review of applications will commence on January 15, 2019 and will continue until the position is filled.Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is accredited by the Joint Commission and provides a comprehensive range of services and supports for people with mental health, substance abuse, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders throughout southern and central Pennsylvania, central New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
