This role is responsible for investigating and faxing failed
electronic reports. This person is also responsible for performing
audits on Customer Care responsibilities, maintaining office
supplies and contacting clients as needed. Understands and abides
by patient confidentiality regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not
limited to, the following:
+ Retrieves failed electronic transmitted reports.
+ Researches and investigates failed fax numbers for
+ Calls clients to verify fax numbers or alternative methods in
which to receive failed transmitted reports.
+ Files and rotates daily faxes.
+ Faxes results to reference hospitals.
+ Audits the add on process; performs other audits as
+ Collects and distributes incoming faxes to the Customer Care
Team in a timely manner, as applicable.
+ Maintains departmental supplies and equipment at a level that
supports the daily operational efficiencies of the department.
+ Performs limited Laboratory Information functions.
+ Accepts additional responsibilities during staffing
