The person in this position will work across teams to find ways to improve security controls while limiting the impact on business. They will pursue avenues that lead to business efficiency while maintaining a strong security posture for the organization.This person will be innovative and collaborative working with disparate teams to solve issues that result from new security measures. They will be a key player in the resulting processes and methodologies and will work to find value solutions that bring people together, enhance business opportunities, while bettering the overall security posture for St. Luke's.Specifically, they will lead efforts to advance security measures, analyze security solutions, meet with business analysts and other clinical IT team members to obtain buy-in, work with various IT teams to accomplish security objectives, take on special assignments requiring in-depth understanding of security technologies and solutions, and be responsible to IS management on goals, and objectives.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Provides IS security solutions to vulnerabilities and works with the team to mitigate them* Leads efforts to advance security goals and objectives across IT departments.* Lead strategic efforts as determined by IS Management that require solutions to complex problems requiring in-depth focus and effort.* Participates in IS team meetings and provides input to help determine the best way to implement new solutions and safeguards.* Serves as a key-player in communicating security goals and objectives and the importance therein with the business and other IT teams.* Functions as a team-lead that demonstrates strong leadership skills as a voice of IT security along with IS Operations to help proliferate and advance the efforts to improve St. Luke's IS security posture.* Develops new, and changes outdated processes, in order to improve the business outcomes without introducing new security risks.* Solves long-standing inefficiencies within IT at a strategic level that maximize security efforts while streamlining business processes.* Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information. * Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.* Demonstrates/models the Network's Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external). * Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety* Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.* Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated. OTHER FUNCTIONS:Work with analysts that support Workday and Service Now to improve processes. Work with Identity Management team to help with the efforts to deploy the role based architecture across various departments and hospitals and patient care centers.PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3-4 hours at a time; standing for up to 1 hours per day, 1 hours at a time; walking for up to 1 hours a day. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.MOST COMPLEX DUTY: The individual must work with various individuals, and teams (strategically) to drive IT security goals and objectives in a collaborative fashion. The individual must have a solid grasp of IT security technologies and uses and function as a primary advocate to other IT teams and the business.SUPERVISION (RECEIVED BY AND/OR GIVEN TO): Manager, Information SecurityCOMMUNICATIONS: Communications skills must be at the highest level.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: BS degree in information systems or security or related work experience. IS certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security, CISA, CISM, CISSP.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Requires 3 or more years working as an information security analyst or engineer with strong analytical abilities. Solid understanding of information security technologies such as firewalls, proxies, IDS, access control, anti-virus, endpoint management, DLP, encryption, and mobile technologies such as Airwatch.Knowledge of Workday and Service Now and experience implementing changes.
