Available Shifts : 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am $19.38 $1.00 shift differential per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor machinery that pours tempered chocolate into molds to form 10-pound bars Monitor and control required temperatures in the different phases of production until the product reaches suitable properties according to specifications Identify, report and communicate operational issues with the production team in a timely manner Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools, or questionable conditions to Supervisor Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformities Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.) Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others Physical Requirements: Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach Able to observe and detect issues Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment - daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold) Blommer Chocolate Company provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
