Shifts: 3rd Shift Sun-Thur 10pm-6:30am - Base Pay $19.38 $1 Shift
Differential JOB SUMMARY: Maintain facility and equipment according
to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulated food
production standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply
with all legislated and relevant laws and regulations for safety
and quality including lockout tag out, GMP, HACCP, Allergen and
Blommer specific policies and procedures. Maintain work area and
equipment, ensure clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions and apply
5S principals, perform preventative maintenance work as scheduled.
Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order; report any
defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the supervisor.
Correctly complete any required reports or paperwork such as
production datasheets, order documentation. Clean and sanitize the
equipment and facility in order to produce a safe and quality
product. Follow master cleaning schedule of facility and specific
job assignments which many include the following: equipment
sanitation. Takes all precautions when working with cleaning and
sanitizing agents as recommended by MSDS and other company safety
requirements. Sanitize and clean assigned manufacturing equipment,
systems, pumps, tanks. Dismantle equipment to fully clean and
sanitize to food safety requirement and reassemble. May be required
to enter confined space for cleaning following required safety
procedures. Communication with management and supervisors as to the
status of any equipment’s state of readiness for operations. May
operate equipment to maintain clean floors throughout the building
and production areas removing dirt, spilled chocolate, grease,
debris. May empty trash containers and other waste containers. May
wash and dust walls and equipment or tanks to remove dirt, spilled
chocolate, grease, oil or any other foreign matter. Clean and
inspect assigned metal detectors and magnets daily, record on HACCP
log. Report any defective materials, spills or any issues that will
take longer than normal to clean to supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS /
REQUIREMENTS: Able to be trained in confined space and fall
protection Basic computer skills, preferably MS Office Must stand
for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs Regularly required to
bend, stoop, and reach to clean areas, push mops, brooms and vacuum
Lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Enter small/tight areas
Work in very hot and sometimes cold conditions Blommer Chocolate
