Mainframe Developer candidates currently located in the Trenton, NJ

Presence Required Education: • 4-year college degree or equivalent
technical study Required Skills and Experience: • COBOL Coding,
testing & Debugging (5 Years) • IBM OS/JCL (MVS) (5 Years) •
IBM/DB2 (5 Years) • Stored Procedures (5 Years) • CICS including
Coding, testing & Debugging (5 Years) • Experience developing
supportive documentation (5 Years) • Experience in Usability
Testing (participate with the users in the system testing of their
programs) (5 Years) • Experience communicating & collaborating with
internal and external groups (5 Years) • Overall technical and IT
experience 5 plus years Preferred Skills and Experience: • IDMS to
DB2 Conversion (5 Years) • IDMS/DC to CICS Conversion (5 Years) Our
client seeks a Mainframe Developer with Excellent DB2 skills,
Strong in stored procedures & strong Cobol, JCL, DB2, and CICS
skills. Good communication skills are required. Responsible for
analysis, design, coding, component, and assembly testing of all
application code owned by the AppsTeam. The Mainframe consultant
will develop and/or receive program specification requirements.
These specifications will describe the coding to be done.
Contractor will be required to deliver new or modified programs,
successfully unit test their work, develop supportive
documentation, and participate with the users in the system testing
of their programs. Experience with database conversions is desired
and helpful Job Duties: • Attain a complete understanding of the
client Case Management system and additional client applications in
order to develop from the business/system requirements • Develop
and/or receive program specification requirements • Contractor will
be required to deliver new or modified programs • Successfully unit
test their work and system testing of programs with users • Develop
