• Part Time 1st & 2nd ShiftPool employees are required to be available 2 weekend shifts in a 30-day period. This can include 1 Saturday shift & 1 Sunday shift, 2 Saturday shifts, or 2 Sunday shifts. -Phoebe Perks7 Paid Holidays per year20 Days of Paid Annual Leave ** Please note PAL is prorated based on time of hire in the first year of employment.Tuition ReimbursementUniform Allowance with Full and Part time StatusShift Differentials for 2nd, 3rd, and Weekend Shifts**Benefit days are available for employees with a regular status of greater than 32 -hours per pay period.Shift: There are weekend and holiday requirements involved with this position.Responsible to wash and sanitize pots and pans in main kitchen received from transports of pantry kitchens.
  • Responsible to wash dishes as needed in main dish room.
  • Responsible to maintain trash removal and general floor care of main kitchen and adjacent areas
  • Responsible to perform daily / weekly cleaning assignments as defined on cleaning system guidelines
  • Responsible to receive and properly store all deliveries of food and supplies to assigned storage areas per regulatory standards
  • Assist Chef de Cuisine to support Resident meal service periods, as requested, to deliver menu product to serving pantry's as needed.
  • Must follow all safe food handling guidelines.
  • Support caf-- opening and closing procedures as requested per Chef de Cuisine.
  • Support Resident meal service as runner when requested.
  • Cleans / sweeps / scrubs / mops main kitchen floors per assigned job flow and shift.
  • Receives vendor deliveries / puts away stock per stated policy utilizing dating and rotational techniques.
  • A friendly demeanor, strong work ethic, -and willingness to interact with staff and residentsMust Have's:
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
    • One year related experience in food service / dining hospitality preferred.
