seeking substitute nurses for the 2025-2026 school year to support
multiple schools including Parryville, Bowmanstown, Apps, and
Cherryville. This per diem position is perfect for licensed
practical nurses (LPN/LVN) or registered nurses (RN) who are
available to step in when the regular school nurse or health room
technician is unavailable. Location: Palmerton, PA and surrounding
areas (Parryville, Bowmanstown, Apps, Cherryville) Position Type:
Contract / Per Diem Substitute Nurse Responsibilities: - Provide
nursing care and health services to students during the school day.
- Cover for the regular school nurse or health room technician when
they are absent. - Administer medications, perform basic first aid,
and assist with health screenings. - Maintain health records and
ensure compliance with school health policies. - Communicate
effectively with school staff, students, and parents regarding
health concerns. Qualifications: - Current LPN/LVN or RN license
valid in Pennsylvania. - Experience working in a school health
setting preferred but not required. - Ability to handle medical
emergencies and provide routine nursing care. - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. - Dependable with
