Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Custom Healthcare Solutions is
currently hiring an experienced Endoscopy Nurse Manager on behalf
of a hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. This is a 13-week contract
opportunity with potential for extension. The Endoscopy Nurse
Manager will oversee the leadership, coordination, and management
of nursing services within the Endoscopy Unit, ensuring
high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient
workflow. Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN) Job Description: This role
requires a strong clinical leader with endoscopy experience,
operating room experience, and prior management experience.
Schedule - Monday – Friday - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Includes 24/7 unit
oversight Additional details: - The manager must be present when
the unit opens and remain until cases are completed - The endoscopy
unit is currently open two days per week - When the unit is closed,
the manager will assist in the main operating room as needed
Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN) Key Responsibilities: Leadership &
Staff Management - Supervise and manage nursing staff within the
endoscopy department - Support hiring, staff training, scheduling,
and performance evaluations - Foster a collaborative team
environment focused on high-quality patient care Clinical & Patient
Care Oversight - Oversee the delivery of safe, patient-centered
endoscopy services - Ensure compliance with infection control
protocols and safety standards - Monitor patient outcomes and
support quality improvement initiatives Operational Management -
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission, and
regulatory standards - Maintain departmental policies, procedures,
and documentation - Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and
supply ordering - Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia
providers, and multidisciplinary teams Financial & Operational
Support - Assist with departmental budgeting and resource
management - Identify opportunities for operational improvements
and cost-effective practices Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN)
Qualifications:/n/nEducation/nBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
– Required/nMaster’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
– Preferred/nExperience/nMinimum 3–5 years of nursing
experience/nMinimum 2 years in an Endoscopy or Gastroenterology
setting/nAt least 1 year of management experience within an
endoscopy department/nLicensure & Certifications/nActive New York
RN License/nBLS and ACLS certifications required/nCGRN
certification preferred/n/nAdditional Requirements/nExperience
scrubbing and circulating in a main operating room/nStrong
leadership, communication, and organizational skills/nAbility to
manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
