Situated in the picturesque Middle Peninsula, our hospital serves as a vital healthcare hub, providing essential services including Emergency, Critical Care, Operating Room, and Acute Care Units. We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist I to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.Responsibilities:• Deliver physical therapy care to assigned patient population with a focus on quality and compassion. • Record all patient care activities accurately and promptly in the hospital medical record. • Act as a consultant to various patient clinics within the hospital. • Provide instruction to PT support staff, students, personnel of other disciplines within VCUHS, and patients and/or family members. • Rotate through various clinical service areas as needed.Qualifications:• Licensure: Licensed (or licensure eligible) by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist. • Certification: Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area. • Experience: New graduate to up to 2 years of work experience as a Physical Therapist. Employee is a member of a self-directed team and applies his knowledge and experience in daily clinic problem solving.
