Veterinary Technician Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician
title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing
and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending
on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s
Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where
applicable. Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of
the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including
administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab
work. Be a Leader and Mentor: You’ll guide and support the medical
team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help
them grow their skills and careers. Partner with Clients: You'll be
a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on
treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering

active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the

the Team As a member of the ASC family, your role will be hands-on,
meaningful, and vital to our mission. You’ll be an integral part of
saving lives each day through: Patient Care & Procedures:
Venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology,
laboratory work, etc. Surgical Support: Assisting in advanced
procedures, preparing patients, and ensuring smooth recoveries
Treatments & Record Keeping: Administering treatments and
medications to pets, filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate
medical records such as charts/treatment sheets, etc. Client
Communication: Educating and supporting pet owners with empathy and
professionalism Hospital Support: Delivering compassionate care for
hospitalized patients Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician
Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability
to transfer credentials from state to state. Associate's degree in
Veterinary Technology 2 years of experience as a Licensed
Veterinary Technician (preferred) Flexibility to thrive in a
fast-paced, 24-hour surgical hospital environment Comfortable with
technology, surgical procedures, and client interactions Ability to
lift up to 40 lbs and support patients of all sizes A team player
with strong communication skills and a passion for animals
