Specialty Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-AP-Physician-0091 State NJ Location 1 Robert Wood Johnson Place New Brunswick New Jersey 08901 Requirements Looking for a provider that can also do Pediatric PathologyRobert Wood Johnson University New Brunsick needs a locum ASAP for ongoing coverage.Specialty: Pathology: Anatomic PathologyPlease list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: Pathologists will need to be proficient in surgical pathology. Expertise in cytopathology, in addition to expertise in surgical pathology, is welcome. Frozen section analysis is required. Rapid onsite evaluations are required for cytology. Our current volume is around 60,000 surgical pathology cases and around 10,000 cytopathology cases annually.Description of Work Assignment: The selected candidate will sign out surgical pathology cases and possibly cytopathology cases.Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: Mon-Fri, plus night/weekend call, as noted below.Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p coverage needed on site daily for the above-mentioned services.On call? Yes.Patient Load around 30 cases per day, but many are complex.Board Status Requirement (BC/BE): Board certification in anatomic pathology is required.Is there additional support staff? YesIs the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Locum provider will work with about 13 other full time MDs.Are there Advanced Practice Providers?
