We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 4-week locum tenens assignment in New Jersey. This opportunity begins on Dec 27, 2025, with 12-hour onsite shifts covering a range of dates and all age groups. The role involves family medicine and urgent care cases in a dynamic clinical setting. Job Details - Location: New Jersey - Start Date: Dec 27, 2025 - LOA: 4 weeks - Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Assistant - Schedule: 8a - 8p on Dec 27, Dec 29, Dec 31, and Jan 1 Responsibilities and Duties - Provide urgent care and family medicine services for patients of all ages - Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and patient histories - Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions - Administer and interpret diagnostic tests as needed - Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with NJ licensure and Medicaid requirements - Utilize advanced cardiac life support protocols when indicated - Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and administrative protocols - Collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care Additional Information - Active NJ Physician Assistant license required - Medicaid participation required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA certification required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
