This role is pivotal in upholding our commitment to eliminating preventable treatment errors and enhancing safety across all levels of patient care and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying potential risks, developing strategic mitigation plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to patient safety and the security of medical data. Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures across the organization. Collaborate with various departments to establish and promote best practices in clinical safety and risk compliance. Manage and analyze incident data to monitor effectiveness and recommend improvements to risk management strategies. Prepare reports on risk analysis findings and present recommendations to senior management. Stay updated with latest healthcare regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance. Conduct training sessions for staff on risk policies and compliance procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in risk assessment software tools Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Knowledge of healthcare compliance and standards, such as HIPAA Medical Insurance 401k Certified Risk Manager (CRM) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) - preferred
