Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse - Emergency Room\n\n Location\n Macungie, PA \n\nAssignment Duration\n This is a 13-week contract position. \n\nSchedule\n Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM with potential for alternating shifts from 9 AM to 9 PM, depending on unit needs. \n\nJob Description\n The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must be prepared to handle a variety of emergency situations, and will be expected to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. \n\nResponsibilities\n \n Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department. \n Monitor and assess patient conditions and make necessary adjustments to care plans. \n Administer medications and treatment as prescribed. \n Participate in patient and family education on health issues and care plans. \n Support respiratory services through cross-training initiatives. \n Document patient information accurately using EPIC. \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n Minimum of 1 year experience in an Emergency Room setting. \n Active PA or Compact RN license required. \n Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and either TNCC or ATCN. \n Ability to float to different areas as needed. \n Must be available for every third weekend and every other holiday. \n \n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
