Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements/n /nMRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)/n /nStartDate: ASAP /nAvailable Shifts: 8 D /nPay Rate: $2229.44 - $2442.89 /n /nMRI Tech needed asap for 13 weeks/nThe MR technologist demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MR safety and medical terminology. Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and technique. The MR technologist performs MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. Prepares and administers contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines. /nRequirements /n Education High School Diploma (Required) /nCompletion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school./nExperience/n At least 1-year MRI experience preferred /nLicenses/Certificates ARRT Radiology registry (required). /nMagnetic Resonance ARRT Radiology Registry (recommended) /nAmerican Heart Association (BLS) CPR certification (required)/n Required Qualifications MRI Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging/nExperience: 1 year/nCertifications: MR-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)/nSSN Required/nDOB Required/nReferences: 1 Reference in entire work history/n/nRequirements Education High School Diploma (Required) Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school.
