Job Description & Requirements
Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric - (RRT - Peds - Pedi)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 1600.00

ONE position is open in adult critical care.
ONE position is open in the Children's Hospital.

Administers all forms of respiratory care, both critical and general therapy, and directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients. Provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic tests as part of the healthcare team.

Education - Required:
Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care

Education - Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care

Experience - Required:
1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.
Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.

Licensure - Required:
Respiratory Care Practitioner - PA state license

Certifications - Required:
RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT Credential within 1 Year
AHA BCLS - Basic Life Support
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support Applicable only to Children's Hospital Respiratory Therapists - will be discussed at time of interview.
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Applicable only to Children's Hospital Respiratory Therapists - will be discussed at time of interview.

Certifications - Preferred:
AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Required Qualifications
ONE position is open in adult critical care.
ONE position is open in the Children's Hospital.
****REQUIRED: COVID & FLU vaccination status MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted!****RRT certification, BLS and PALs. LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) and positive Hep B antibody documentation**

PALS, NRP
