is responsible for the administration, oversight, and management of
Human Resources and will provide administrative assistance to the
office team.Essential ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all hiring practices
are done according to company guidelines and that those guidelines
meet all legal agency requirements (Federal, State, DOT,
OSHA)Maintain employee records in SharePoint ensuring these files
meet the same compliance standards.Ensure all relevant DOT forms
are being completed by new hires correctly and the company is in
compliance.Take the lead in planning for new hires, writing job
descriptions, and coordinating those efforts with all relevant
managers.Understanding the labor/job market, posting jobs and
ensuring the postings are attracting the right
candidates.Structuring compensation, benefits and writing up offer
letters for new employees.Onboarding new employees through the
Hiring module.Provide updates and suggestions for policies and
procedures and ensuring the employee manual is updated as
needed.Backup for processing Payroll.An understanding of expenses
and payroll procedures.Lead the company through the yearly renewal
for employee benefits (Health, Dental and Vision insurance)Training
recommendations.Conduct disciplinary
actions.Education/SkillsCollege degree in Human Resources or
related field preferred.Experience with Paychex Flex and Paychex
Hiring module preferred.Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
including Teams.Any relevant HR or Payroll related certifications
