missile systems from concept through qualification and production.
This position supports spacecraft, missile, hypersonic, or other
advanced aerospace platforms operating in extreme and highly

Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will oversee the end-to-end
mechanical integration of a complex missile system under
development. This will include management of mechanical interfaces,
resolution of mechanical integration issues through coordination
between suppliers and internal design teams through all phases of
the lifecycle. Day to day activities will include technical
leadership of a multi site team, planning future activities,
briefing leadership on progress and challenges, and driving
integrated technical solutions to closure. • Perform mechanical
integration for the flight system, including system development and
oversight of structures/mechanisms, propulsion, ACS, and thermal
protection, in collaboration with the Requirements & Verification
team • Lead and coordinate efforts of other mechanical integrators
within the team • Develop and maintain the mechanical configuration
model and internal missile mechanical Interface Control Documents
(ICDs) • Work with Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and
designers to establish missile internal mechanical interfaces to
ensure smooth integration at the system level • Provide independent
review and coordination to ensure flight system designs are
mechanically compatible • Lead and support anomaly investigations
during integration and test phase • Participate in design maturity
reviews Basic Qualifications • Extensive knowledge of mechanical
engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms,
materials, and analysis • Experience with missile mechanical
design, mechanical integration, ATLO, and/or manufacturing
experience • Experience defining and documenting system mechanical
interfaces • Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 • Experience leading
projects or teams • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Desired
skills • 14 years minimum of Payload/Spacecraft Layout,
Integration, fabrication, and/or testing experience. • 5 years CREO
experience • 5 years minimum experience with releasing drawings in
EPDM • Familiarity with Industry Standard specification (NAS, MIL,
MS, etc.) • Understanding of Lockheed Martin drafting standards and
materials and process specifications (MAP, LAC, EPS, LM, etc.)
Experience with large, complex tolerance analysis Experience with
missile thermal protection systems Experience with
propulsion/control system integration • Design for
Manufacturing/Integration/Testability (DFM) experience Lockheed

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for

incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
