Job Description Job Description Diagnostic Automotive Technician Monday to Friday Climate Controlled Shop Salaried Position: Up to $100,000 per year to start for the right candidate The Highlights (Read This First) $80,000–$100,000 straight salary (no flat rate, no hourly pressure) Primarily diagnostic-focused role (approximately 90% diagnostics) Monday–Friday schedule High-tech, climate-controlled shop with OEM-level tools Paid training & ASE certifications covered Health insurance, PTO, retirement plan, uniforms provided Over 30 years in business | AAA 5 Diamond | ASE Blue Seal The Role This is not a general A-Level mechanic position. This is a true diagnostic position . Roughly 90% of your time will be spent diagnosing vehicles — not performing routine mechanical repairs. If you are the technician other techs turn to when they're stuck… this is your lane. You chase root causes. You interpret data. You solve complex problems. This is not a parts-swapping environment. This is where real diagnostics happen. What You'll Be Doing Performing advanced diagnostics on passenger vehicles and light- to medium-duty trucks Diagnosing complex drivability, electrical, engine performance, and network communication issues (Company will provide scan tools) Interpreting scan data, oscilloscopes, and OEM-level diagnostic software Identifying root causes and creating accurate repair plans Collaborating with a highly skilled service and support team Working in a clean, organized, professional shop where quality always wins Diesel diagnostic experience is a plus (not required).
