Group/Division
SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD -), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This role would be working at the Allentown, PA location which is the home of Primaxx - Vapor HF, Xactix - XeF2, and MVD - products.

Responsibilities:

• Use AutoCAD to create schematics and diagrams
  
• Research and select electrical components to meet safety, quality, cost, and availability needs
  
• Add electrical components to the ERP system using Enovia
  
• Design electrical circuits and electrical assemblies that meet electrical safety standards such as those that are in NFPA 79, IEC 60204, and SEMI S2
  
• Work with mechanical engineers to lay out components on electrical panels and create enclosures
  
• Review and modify service procedures so that repairs and diagnostics can be performed by field service on electrical equipment
  
• Assist manufacturing and field service with diagnosing electrical issues
  
• Test and qualify electrical components
  
• Expected 10% travel to meet with vendors, assist with field issues, or training
  Prefer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline - equivalent experience will be considered
    
  • Experience with using basic electrical lab equipment
    
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
    
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment

    Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
