Structural Design Engineer $75,000 - $105,000/yr - Full Time About CornerstoneCornerstone Consulting Engineers & Architectural is a multi-disciplined firm with offices in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia that providing surveying, building system engineering, architecture, and site engineering throughout the East Coast. Job DescriptionA Structural Engineer is responsible for the design of structural systems associated with small to mid-sized commercial buildings and amenities. -The structural engineer will also be responsible for the oversight of the design staff working on the structural designs at hand.
Responsibilities: - - - - - - - - -Preparation of structural plans and files, including but not limited to foundation plans, framing plans and associated details. - - - - - - - - -Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy - - - - - - - - -Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasks - - - - - - - - -Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in logical & well-structured manner - - - - - - - - -Field surveys and preparation of existing conditions plans/ sections - - - - - - - - -Other related duties as assignedQualifications - - - - - - - - -BS Degree from an accredited preferred institute in Civil or Structural Engineering - - - - - - - - -Licensed Professional Engineer - - - - - - - - -At least four years' experience in the design of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings - - - - - - - - -Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit - - - - - - - - -Proficient in STAAD and EnerCalc structural design programs or equal - - - - - - - - -Skills in analyzing and designing structures consisting of wood, masonry, concrete or steel and preparing structural construction documents - - - - - - - - -Ability to work on a team and/or independently - - - - - - - - -Ability to travel occasionally
