Job Description and QualificationsAir Products and Chemicals,
Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an
immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Integrity Engineer! We
require a skilled and experienced professional for the role of
Mechanical Integrity Engineer that will provide technical
leadership and governance in the area of Mechanical Integrity to
our regional operating organizations.
The position will collaborate with operations, maintenance,
engineering, metallurgy, and 3rd party engineering firms to develop
aging plant inspection strategies for our diverse product line of
operating plants, support development of detailed inspection
scopes, and conduct Fitness For Service (FFS) assessments of
inspection results. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a
plant environment. Strong communication and leadership skills along
with technical knowledge of fixed equipment engineering are
required. Travel to the plant sites and engineering offices will be
required (25%+/-), with most of the travel being throughout North
America. Some travel may be required to Europe, Middle East, and
Asia. This position can be located near our Allentown, PA or
Houston, TX facilities or residence based.
