Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A 12-week
contract position is available starting in September 2026, offering
full-time work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving
elementary and preschool populations with a focus on Autism. These
roles are based in Edison, NJ, and require onsite presence.
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to K-5
students, including those in preschool. Address the needs of
students with high Autism populations. Collaborate with school
staff and families to support student communication goals. Maintain
accurate documentation and progress reports. Ensure compliance with
district and state regulations. Qualifications: Valid New Jersey
SLP License. Valid New Jersey SLS (School Speech-Language
Specialist) Certification. Candidates with a Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) are prioritized. Clinical Fellows (CFs)
may apply with outside supervision (note: the district does not
provide supervision). Experience working with children in school
settings, particularly with Autism spectrum disorders. No
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered.
Locations: Elementary school positions with high Autism and
preschool populations in Sewaren, NJ (Matthew Jago Elementary).
Elementary school position with similar populations in Iselin, NJ
(Kennedy Park Elementary). One additional school placement TBD
within the district. Benefits: Full-time hours, 35 hours per week.
