Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education teaching opportunity is available
for the Extended School Year (ESY) session from June 23, 2026, to
July 31, 2026, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This part-time
contract position offers approximately 26 hours per week, Monday
through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role involves
providing special education services in a K-12 setting at various
approved schools, including Cecelia Snyder Middle School, Strayer
Middle School, Everitt School, and Pearl Buck Elementary School.
Placement at a specific school will be determined based on
candidate location and client needs. Responsibilities: - Deliver
specialized instruction to students with disabilities in line with
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Collaborate with school
staff, families, and support personnel to implement effective
teaching strategies. - Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. -
Maintain compliance with all Pennsylvania state special education
guidelines and requirements. Required Qualifications: -
Pennsylvania Special Education certification is mandatory. -
Candidates holding an Emergency Permit must be actively enrolled in
a certification program. - Proof of active licensure or emergency
permit with program enrollment must be presented for consideration.
- Experience working with K-12 special education students is
preferred. Location: - Countywide itinerant service with the main
office located in Levittown, PA. - Schools are located within Bucks
