Job Description Job Description Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An educational organization is seeking a dedicated Substitute Registered Behavior Technician to provide support across various classroom and outpatient school settings. The chosen candidate will deliver behavior-support interventions aligned with individualized behavior plans under the direction of behavior analysts and school staff. State mandated fingerprinting and background clearance are required. Responsibilities: - Implement behavior-support strategies for students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs, following established plans and protocols. - Collect and record data on student behavior, progress, and intervention outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation for review. - Collaborate with certified staff (teachers, behavior analysts, special educators) to adapt strategies and support individual student goals. - Assist in establishing structured environments, promoting positive behavior, supervising transitions, and reducing behavioral incidents. - Maintain confidentiality of student information, comply with school district and state policies on student conduct, and respond appropriately to emergent situations. Qualifications / Desired Experience: - Current certification or certification-eligible as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Pennsylvania or willing to obtain. - Experience working with students with behavioral or developmental challenges in school or clinical settings preferred. - Completion of state fingerprinting and successful background check required prior to assignment. - Strong observational skills, effective communication with students and staff, ability to work independently in structured but dynamic settings. - Capability to adapt to varying classroom environments, remain calm under pressure, and maintain professional conduct at all times.
