Job Description:
At US Foods, a national leader in foodservice distribution, we

environment. As an Equipment Mechanic in our Technical &
Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining
and repairing the mechanical systems that keep our operations
running smoothly. This position involves working with a variety of
food processing and packaging machines, as well as transport and
refrigeration equipment. Your expertise will ensure minimal
downtime and help our partners in the food service industry
succeed. Conduct regular maintenance and diagnostic tests on food
processing and packaging equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues
and provide timely repairs. Collaborate with the operations team to
schedule maintenance and minimize production disruptions. Maintain
records of maintenance work and repairs. Adhere to safety standards
and protocols at all times. Assist in the installation of new
equipment and ensure its proper setup. Provide training and
guidance to junior mechanics and technicians. Strong mechanical
repair skills Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Familiarity with food processing technology and equipment
Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic machinery Excellent

Technician (CMRT) preferred Relevant manufacturer's certification
for food processing equipment is a plus
