We are seeking a full time Creative Art Therapist to join our Intensive Residential and Community Services program in Walnutport, PA.

Work Location: Walnutport, PA.

Job Type : Full Time

Schedule : 8am-4pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of the Creative Art Therapist :
The Creative Art Therapist collaborates with program leadership to design and implement therapeutic programming and related activities which reflect individual needs, interests, and the individualized recovery planning processes.
The Creative Art Therapist provides education and training to both individuals in recovery and staff regarding the benefits and intricacies of art therapy.
The Creative Art Therapist facilitates activities with individuals and groups, including educational, clinical, social and leisure programs, ensuring inclusion of the individuals in the activities.
The Creative Art Therapist assists with connecting individuals to community resources as identified in their recovery plan and establishment of partnerships with community-based supports to promote community integration and identification of methods for individuals in recovery to build social capital and development of network supports.
The Creative Art Therapist ensures that all required documentation is completed efficiently and thoroughly maintaining compliance with all internal and external requirements and regulations.

Requirements: Requirements for the Creative Art Therapist :
Master's Degree in Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Recreation Therapy or Movement Therapy
2 years of behavioral health experience preferred.
Valid driver's license

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and professional licensure/certification are preferred.
