Job Description:

The Bach Choir of Bethlehem seeks an individual with exceptional organizational, digital, and customer service skills for the full time position of Administrative Assistant for The Bach Choir of Bethlehem. The position opens on July 1, 2019. Applications will be accepted by the Executive Director Bridget George, as of June 4, 2019 – see application procedure below. Compensation is $18 an hour plus benefits.
Founded in 1898, the world renowned Bach Choir of Bethlehem now offers 40 concerts and educational programs a year for an audience of more than 22,000.
Responsibilities:


  • Directly responsible for maintenance of CRM database including ticketing, merchandise sales, and development/marketing data entry
  • Assist colleagues with board, choir, and orchestra communications, and concert/event logistics
  • General office management/support including mailings, supplies, and maintenance

    Reporting:

    • Reports to the executive director with daily accountability to the marketing director
    • Supports the executive director, artistic director, and the office team of marketing director, development officer, finance manager, and Bel Canto Youth Chorus administrator

      Qualifications:

      • Two or more years of experience in office administration. Arts administration a plus.
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus experience
      • Experience with the following: CRM or other customer database management program; Microsoft Office Suite; Website maintenance (Weebly/Word Press); Google and Outlook tools. Audio/video file editing a plus.
