Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

Supports Manager of FP&A and corporate functional department team with analyzing and summarizing financial and non-financial data to help drive decisions, performs analyses on difference scenario's and helps to draw conclusions, and prepares appropriate and relevant reports and presentations to upper management. Primary focus will be on the Global SG&A segment (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America).

Essential Functions:

• Assists with forecasting, annual operating budget for Corporate Departments within the SG&A segment, including loading data to the Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) system and compiling product into presentation format.
• Assists in the month end close process, variance explanations, and researching and reviewing financial results for the SG&A segment.
• Responsible for preparing C-Suite total company reporting package, summarizing company's financial / operation performance for various periods including actuals and forecasting.
• Manages the quarterly updates to the Board of Trustees reporting package in collaboration with other departments.
• Partners with Investor Relations on quarterly updates to the Investor Presentations.
• Works with and partners with Corporate Finance team to drive value add projects, strategic initiatives, and business cases and partners with other functional departments on assigned projects as necessary.
• Collaborates with the Financial Reporting team on the quarterly updates to the 10-Q / K SEC filings materials.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

• BS Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance and 3 years of relevant financial analyst experience.
• Previous exposure to Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Warehousing industries is preferred.
• Previous exposure in public FP&A setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, ,Word, SAP, SAP-BPC, financial and business intelligence systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of budget and reporting systems such as HYPERION, ESSBASE, COGNOS, SAP or equivalent.


Knowledge & Employment Standards:

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills sufficient to prepare financial documents, reports, and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work on teams exemplified by implemented results or change to processes.
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual with demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and scopes may change regularly while maintaining accuracy.
