Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania is seeking a highly experienced leader and manager to join its leadership team as the Vice President of Finance and Administration. The VP, F&A has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Finance Department and several administrative functions.Key Responsibilities:Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania seeks an effective, strategic and experienced Vice President of Finance and Administration to oversee financial and administrative operations. Reporting to the President and CEO, the VP, F&A is responsible for the financial, human resources, facilities, information technology, contract management, investments and other operations. The person in this position works closely with President and CEO, the Board of Directors and Finance, Audit and Investment Committees of the Board on budgets and revenue estimates, reports regularly to the President and CEO on financial performance, supervises finance and (some) administrative staff, manages relationships with outside counsel, financial advisors, insurance brokers, banks, audit firm and government payors. The VP, F&A must enjoy managing a hard-working team, have experience working in a fast-paced, inclusive and diverse office environment, and feel motivated to drive change that further empowers people living with disabilities.Qualifications:This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting; a CPA and/or MBA is a plus. Must possess knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices and standards.The ideal candidate for this position will be a detail-oriented, seasoned and mature leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial leadership positions in the nonprofit sector, as well as experience:-- Working with financial systems and managing finance (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a nonprofit organization with multiple funding sources.-- With all aspects of nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.-- With government contracting, managing and accounting for grants and managing multiple revenue streams.-- Managing, developing and implementing effective, best practice financial management strategies.-- Managing the following administrative functions: HR, IT, facilities, contracts and compliance and related activities.-- Developing and working with an organizational budget.-- Gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to the CEO and senior managers.-- Overseeing investments, restricted gifts and donor advised funds.-- Using and overseeing the use of finance and accounting software packages.-- Working with independent audit firms.-- Working with 401(k) plans and knowledge of IRS requirements.-- Overseeing management of facilities and information technology.-- Supervising staff and working collaboratively in a management team environment.-- Managing implementation of new systems, software and working with information technology vendors and staff.He or she will also be a:-- Change agent; create, drive and implement administrative process improvements and innovations.-- Strategic and analytic thinker with strong skills in abstract reasoning and problem solving.-- Strong business partner who has successfully negotiated favorable terms with vendors, suppliers and others.-- Demonstrated leader with team management and interpersonal skills and excellent judgment.-- Self-starter who demonstrates the highest standards of integrity .-- Professional with excellent written and oral communication skills.TO APPLY: Please include resume, cover letter and salary requirements.Type: Full-time.To apply, please e-mail your resume to kfinkle@esep.org .
